
Fonts that may benefit adult literacy learners
There has been research that sans serif fonts (no flicky bits like this) are easier for our learners to read.
There are nominated dyslexia fonts and other fonts such Comic sans or Futura which the a is normal and not shaped thus a and the g is easier g. Spacing and letter size are larger for the same font size in your word processor.
Comic sans is usually one of the available fonts in your word processor or other office applpications.

Download the file. It may be a compressed or zipped file. Open the folder and double click on the font file. When it opens there will be an instal button on the top left hand corner. Click the instal button and next time you open your word processor the new font will be availbale.
